Grades: 3-5, 6-8, 9-12

The modules were developed in collaboration among eight (8) National Estuarine Research Reserves. Each module centers on research being conducted at one (or more) of these Reserves. The modules include Climate Change, Ecosystem Services, and Water Quality. Each module was designed for teachers that want to integrate hands-on interactive lessons into their classrooms. Overall the modules: 1) introduce students to the overall concept and it's underlying issues 2) provide students the opportunity to participate in hands-on relevant research and science, and 3) provide students opportunities to take part in civic-minded lessons that can be incorporated in their daily lives.
